Over the past month, there have been quite a few stories about Mother 3. You see, the Game Boy Advance title recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, and it's still not been released outside of Japan.

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé even teased fans about an English copy of the game, and now, to add to all of this - US actor, comedian, and former NFL player Terry Crews is calling for Nintendo to localise this cult hit. Terry is known to be quite the gamer.

Konami Won't Be Attending E3 2021 But Still Has A Number Of Projects To Reveal

In a statement on social media, the company said it still had "great respect" for the ESA and would continue to support it in the future. It's also taken this opportunity to reassure fans it has a number of projects in "deep development" - and will be sharing updates in the coming months.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the colourful follow-up to Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (which came to Switch in 2019 after widespread critical success), and recently, a few eagle-eyed journalists have noticed that an ESRB rating for the sequel on Switch has appeared.

Fall Guys' Switch Release Has Been Delayed, But Crossplay Is In The Works

Mediatonic says it'll be 'really worth waiting for'.

Back in February, it was revealed that one of 2020's biggest gaming hits, Fall Guys, was headed to Switch. It was originally going to launch for Nintendo's platform this summer, but the folks at Mediatonic have now announced that the game will be delayed.

In a statement shared on the official Fall Guys website, the developer notes that the expected summer release window is "unfortunately just too soon" for the team to make the Switch edition as good as it can be. Review: The Longing - Tedious By Design, And Incredibly Successful At It

For a minute there, I lost myself.

There's a section of the acclaimed Windows adventure game The Neverhood entitled "The Hall of Records". It's essentially a (very) long gag – screen after screen of rooms, full to the brim with quite bizarre text. It takes what feels like hours to make it through with main character Klaymen's agonisingly slow walk speed, but you have to do it. Waiting at the end of this absolute meandering torture – which takes forever even if you completely ignore the lore hung on the walls – is a single collectable token, essential to completion. It's a sick joke, and one with a double punchline; you've now got to walk back. No shortcuts.

You want to really laugh? The Longing is that same principle, applied to a full game. Everything takes forever to do. And it's all by design, which makes it something of a tricky prospect to review. Do you reward the game for evoking an atmosphere that it very much intended to evoke? Do you criticise the game for said atmosphere being phenomenally dull even though it's absolutely meant to make you feel that way? There's really no way to win. Thankfully, as we all know, winning isn't everything. So let's get very cross with The Longing and call it names.

Nintendo Space World events live on in gaming history, from a time when Nintendo would save some of its very biggest reveals for the show. It's also a collector's goldmine, with demos, hardware and more revealed at the show before disappearing into obscurity.

One example is the Silver and Teal Game Boy Advance; it's from a notable year, 2000, as that was the show that unveiled the true successor to the Game Boy. The New Pokémon Sword And Shield TCG Expansion Arrives In Japan Next Month

The Pokémon Company has lifted the lid on its sixth Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion for the official Japanese version of the Trading Card Game. It'll arrive next month on 28th May.

The next series is "focused around" Eevee and its many evolutions, according to Serebii.net. It's titled Eevee Heroes - with "over a dozen cards" already revealed. This includes cards for Leafeon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Espeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and of course Eevee.

It's been a long, long, long, long time since any new Mii creation tools were introduced — we're all pretty much using the same technology from the Wii days — but Miitopia, of all things, might be about to change that.

See, it turns out that Nintendo aren't just re-releasing an old, weird 3DS game on Switch — they're also modernising it, and that includes new Mii tools. Specifically, that means two things: wigs, and makeup. It might not sound like a big deal, but if you know how creative people used to get with Miis back in the day, imagine what those same people can do with more power.
