Ghost of Tsushima's Iki Island expansion sees the return of its familiar open-world game activities, one of which you should be well acquainted with: Haikus. This calming side-activity allows you to choose phrases to form a Haiku that best reflects Jin's current feelings about a particular matter. Completing a Haiku earns you a special headband themed after what was written about.

The Iki Island expansion adds a total of three new Hakiu to write, which earns you three new headbands you can use to accessorize. Below, we detail the locations of every single Haiku on Iki Island.

The Waterfall Haiku spot is located directly south of Lone Spirit Falls. You'll see it on a perch by a tree just before the waterfall. It's always lovely how flowing water can bring a sense of inner peace.

Throughout Ghost of Tsushima, you can find special characters who will let you purchase dyes for your armor sets. There's a new dye merchant in the Iki Island expansion, who sells special red armor customizations you can otherwise get. You can't just come across the Crimson Dye Merchant by exploring the island, however--you need to complete certain other objectives in order to unlock it.

How To Find The Crimson Dye Merchant

Unlock Fune's Refuge

First, you'll need to work your way through the Iki Island Tales that unlock when you first arrive on the island. Continue through them until you meet Tenzo and he takes you to Fune's Refuge. Once you have access to the town, you'll find a dueling tournament in the back corner. The Crimson Dye Merchant is one of the participants in the competition.

A new limited-time event for Knockout City is about to begin. Called Heroes, the event kicks off August 24 and introduces a bunch of superpowered abilities into the dodgebrawl game. A new trailer details what's in store for the event.

Heroes adds a limited-time playlist called Superpowers, in which you'll randomly unlock one of seven superpowers every time you respawn during a match. The available powers are listed below, following the trailer.

All Knockout City Heroes Superpowers

  • Tackle Strike - Tackle your opponents to deal damage
  • Double Jump - Jump again in the air
  • X-Ray Vision - See and target players through walls
  • Charge-Up - Gain extra overcharge from catches and passes
  • Healing Powers - Heal your hearts back over time
  • Strength - Pick up other players by dodging into them
  • Ballform Bounce - While in ball form, bounce pads will Ultimate Throw you

Alongside the new playlist, Heroes will add new contracts as well as event-themed items to the in-game shop.

In the armor department, Iki Island lets you deck out Jin Sakai in some great new looks, some of which change up what you can do in combat, and some of which just make you look awesome while slashing through Mongols.

You can find the Shadow of the Colossus-themed Armor of the Colossus at the Shrine in Shadow, located near the southern coast of Iki, in the Buddha's Footprints region. The location is a big Shadow of the Colossus Easter egg, and you'll have to solve the riddle found within the shrine to unlock the armor.

New Metroid Dread Trailer Released, More Info To Come On August 27

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Metroid Dread. The trailer released alongside Metroid Dread Report Vol. 5, which details what abilities Samus will have at her disposal in the upcoming game, while also teasing that another report and trailer are on the way.

"[The next report will shed] light on new mysteries revealed in an upcoming game trailer," Nintendo writes in the video's description on YouTube. "Please look forward to it on August 27."

In the latest trailer, we see Samus flying towards her next mission, learning that she's being sent as the backup solution to dealing with the last of the X parasites, the villains of Metroid Fusion. Surprisingly, we also get a bit of voice acting here--outside of the Metroid Prime trilogy and Metroid: Other M, the Metroid series relies on written text to deliver dialogue.

Double XP Weekend Live In CoD: Black Ops Cold War And Warzone

A double XP and double weapon XP weekend is now live in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone in celebration of the launch of Season 5 in both games, which went live last week.

The double XP weekend is live now and runs until Monday, August 23 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War included a brand-new mode, Double Agent. This mode is an Among Us-style mode, where Double Agents are tasked with sabotaging a match, by either eliminating all other players or setting off dirty bombs located around the map.

This follows the Warzone train event from earlier this week that led to the reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard, which is releasing later this year. Shortly after the event, Activision announced that Warzone would be getting a new map later this year, presumably tied to the launch of Vanguard, although no release date has been given.

Marvel's Armor Wars Series Lands Comedian Yassir Lester Penned As Head Writer

Marvel's upcoming Armor Wars series has landed comedian Yassir Lester as head writer, which was reported by Deadline. Lester has writing credits for Adult Swim's animated Black Dynamite series, Duncanville as well as acting credits on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Black-Ish.

Armor Wars was initially announced during an investor's presentation in December 2020. The limited series will star Don Cheadle, who will reprise his role as James Rhodes, also known as Warmachine, in a plot where Tony Stark's technology falls into the wrong hands. Despite Armor Wars having yet to find its director, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will continue to be the producer of the series which is reportedly still in early stages of development.

Lester and Cheadle are not strangers. Armor Wars will be the second time the pair have worked together following their previous work on the Showtime series Black Monday.

Ghost of Tsushima's Iki Island expansion introduces a new side-activity called Deer Sanctuaries, which are centered around playing a flute mini-game to charm local deer and create an animal safe haven. Below, we've compiled a guide detailing where to find them all.

Completing one Deer Sanctuary earns you the Charm of Sugaru's Sight. This ranged charm allows you to shoot up to three arrows at once with your bows--so long as you've got enough ammo, of course. It also gives you the ability to lock onto multiple foes. The more Deer Sanctuaries you unlock, the faster the charm's lock-on capability gets.
