20 Bethesda Games from the World’s Most Iconic Franchises Available in Xbox Game Pass Tomorrow

Posted: 11 Mar 2021 10:11 AM PST

We've always been fans, but now we're family

As we shared earlier this week, we've officially welcomed ZeniMax Media and Bethesda to the Xbox family, adding even more incredible talent, creative diversity, and beloved gaming franchises to an already stacked Xbox lineup.

You might be wondering what exactly that means for you as a gamer. Well, as we've said in the past, Xbox Game Pass is all about bringing you more great games to discover and play with your friends. Starting tomorrow, we continue that journey and celebrate welcoming Bethesda to Xbox by making 20 of Bethesda's most iconic and award-winning games – including games from franchises like Dishonored, Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Wolfenstein – available to Xbox Game Pass members. What's more, 16 of those titles will be available everywhere you play whether it's PC, console, or mobile devices through the cloud for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

The full list of games is below and we can't wait to jump in and discover our next favorite game with players from around the world. A handful of these games will also benefit from FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S, and we'll have more to share on that soon.

We invite you to play these iconic games, whether it’s the first time or a revisit to these beloved worlds. As for what's next, the teams across Bethesda are hard at work and will have more to share later this year.

Prey (Console, PC, Cloud)
Good morning, Morgan. Prey joins the Xbox Game Pass library tomorrow, taking you from the comfort of your home to the treacherous depths of space. Return to the Haunted Castle Rock in We Were Here Forever

Posted: 10 Mar 2021 12:00 PM PST

We are returning to the haunted Castle Rock with a brand new adventure! We Were Here Forever is the newest game in our We Were Here series of co-op puzzle adventures. You and a partner play the role of Antarctic explorers who find themselves trapped in a sinister castle — will you be able to escape?

We Were Here Forever

The team here at Total Mayhem Games has been busy designing new puzzles and uncovering new mysteries for you to discover! On a technical level, we're excited to make use of the power of the new generation of Xbox consoles. It's going to be very helpful for our plan to bring the world of Castle Rock to life in a way you've not seen before.

We Were Here Forever is the fourth game in the We Were Here series. That means more of the cooperative, two-player exploration and puzzle solving that fans have come to know and love. And when we say cooperative, we really mean it — our puzzles can't be solved alone, and often each player will only get a limited part of the information needed. You'll have to talk and work together if you're to have any hope of escaping with your lives. While each game is standalone, if you're a story fan we'd recommend you play Forever after completing the others: there are some shocking revelations coming…

We Were Here Forever

The Experience of We Were Here

One of our favorite things about our games is how many people have fun streaming them together! Especially in these times, it's heart-warming to see something we've made bring people together, and how everyone experiences the We Were Here games differently! We try to evoke a variety of emotions with our game design, from the satisfaction of solving puzzles to suspense of facing the unknown. One moment you might laugh at a mutual misunderstanding, and the next find yourself shocked at an unexpected revelation in the plot.

For We Were Here Forever we're planning the most thrilling adventure yet, and to enhance the atmosphere even further we're going to bring Castle Rock to life! Alongside the immersion of using walkie-talkies to chat with your fellow explorer, there's going to be a wealth of details to discover as you explore.

There's a lot to learn about the world of Castle Rock, as you'd expect from a series that will soon include four titles! The first two games in the series – We Were Here and We Were Here Too – were both set inside Castle Rock, while We Were Here Together introduced the Antarctic outdoors. For We Were Here Forever you will find yourself in the depths of the ancient citadel, but as for where you'll end up? Well, you'll have to find that out for yourself…

We Were Here Forever

Begin Your Adventure Later This Year

Everything is on track for We Were Here Forever to be released later this year! We have a lot more exciting stuff to share as launch day approaches – make sure to follow us on social media if you want the latest developments.

Until then, have you played the other games in the We Were Here Series? As we said before they're all standalone experiences for two players that will challenge you to communicate and keep your cool. That last part won't always be easy though…

Find out if you two have what it takes to escape, or if you'll remain trapped… forever!

Rogue Company Introduces the New Rogue Seeker and a New Map in Latest Season One Update

Posted: 10 Mar 2021 10:00 AM PST

Earlier this year, the team at First Watch Games launched Season One of Rogue Company, which introduced our first Battle Pass and a new Rogue, Kestrel. Today, we’re excited to announce the release of our latest update for Season One – available now on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One! Complete with our newest playable Rogue, Seeker, and one of our most ambitious maps to date. Let’s break down everything this update has in store for players!

First, let's take a look at the new Rogue who will be joining the roster of Rogue Company in this update. Seeker, a former gold medalist Olympian, joins the team as one of their youngest recruits ever – but don't mistake his age for inexperience! Recruited by Kestrel as an official member of Rogue Company in order to embark on a deadly mission, Seeker must now prove his mettle on the battlefield which a lifetime of training and competition has prepared him for! In-game, Seeker's bow isn't just deadly – dealing additional damage when you land a ricocheted shot on an enemy – it's also crucial to your team's tactics. With his Arrow Scanner ability, Seeker fires an arrow which reveals enemies along its flight path – giving your team an undeniable advantage on the battlefield!

Rogue Company - Seeker

This update also introduces our newest map, Hollows, to the world of Rogue Company. Built on a remote island, Hollows is a secret base of the mysterious vigilante organization, Jackal. Constructed in order to launch a stealth weapons platform into space via rocket, the Hollows will ultimately become a deadly battlefield in the fight for logistical superiority between Jackal and Rogue Company. Consisting of a large underground cavern, Hollows is a scenic location which belies its deadly intent – a fact not lost on Rogue Company, who have dispatched a team to sabotage the missile launch and save the day! Seeker's big moment will arrive when he has to make an impossible shot to disable the rocket, preventing it from launching – can he make the shot that he's spent practically his whole life training for? The release of Hollows will also include the introduction of the new limited-time mode called Assault, a 4v4 game mode where the attacking team must plant and detonate a bomb against the defending team. Fast-paced strategic gameplay makes Assault a game mode you won't want to miss!

Rogue Company - Hollows

We here at First Watch Games hope you enjoy the continuation of Rogue Company Season One with the release of Seeker, Hollows, and our limited-time Assault game mode on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Download and play the newest update of Season One of Rogue Company for free today!
