Loot, Shoot, and Fruit Alongside the usual guns, bananas, and projectile birds, you'll now find fruit baskets scattered around the island that can be redeemed in the Summer Event Shop for 8 new limited-edition summer cosmetic items and 17 legacy summer items. Survive longer to earn more fruit baskets and be sure to start hunting early, to grab as many as you can before the event ends July 20!  We've also added two brand-new super animal breeds to the research lab in time for summer: the Super Avocado Sloth and Super Dragonfruit Wolf. These additions expand the roster of fruit-themed animals that began with last year's Super Strawberry Skunk and Super Pineapple Hedgehog. But most importantly, you'll now find beach balls along the shorelines that you can and should kick. Just try not to get…you know…killed while you're playing beach soccer.  Xcellent Feedback We want to extend a huge thank you to all of you for making our debut in Xbox Game Preview such a huge success! Thanks to you, the population of Super Animal World more than doubled within the first two weeks and we've enjoyed meeting so many of you and hearing your suggestions and feedback. We're already hard at work implementing a bunch of it. First off: we've added controller button bindings in this update so you can now customize your controls on Xbox! We've also had good conversations with some of you about ways to fine tune the feel of aiming with a controller. We're particularly focused on tweaking the design/distance of the aiming reticle and the way the left stick affects movement/aiming. You should see some of these tweaks in our next major content update.  Another highly requested feature has been cross-platform parties so that you can squad up with your friends on different platforms. There's some technical complexity associated with it, so we can't yet confirm exactly when it might be added, but we understand how nice it would be so we're actively looking into ways to support it! We'll update you as soon as we have more info. Thanks also to those who have been suggesting new animals, outfits, gameplay mechanics, and other new features in our Discord server! The Avengers need to work together to take down the Scientist Supreme before she can bring about an apocalypse. The new Beating the Odds Villain Sector and the Cosmic Threat Event are available now! Trails of Cosmic energy have been circulating around the globe, which lead the Avengers to Monica's secret weapon — tracking down these Cosmic signatures is how Beating the Odds begins. You'll track the trail to a heavily guarded AIM facility and fight through to the final chamber, which houses a giant, mysterious, and undoubtedly powerful cube. This is the Cosmic Cube, the true form of Project Omega, and Monica can't wait to show you just how powerful it is in the final battle of the Villain Sector. This is a brand-new fight unlike any we've created before. Though the future is always to some degree uncertain, with our Cosmic Cube dev tips from Principal Designer Jason Botta, you can ready up with confidence to beat the odds! Beating the Odds is available now on the War Table in the Snowy Tundra and can be played with any Hero with Power Level 35+. Intro Mission Chain Rewards include one Hero Set gear, one DNA Key, three Polychoron, and one piece of gear that has its quality scaled to your Power Level. Weekly Mission Chain Rewards yield gear depending on Power Level, 15 Polychoron, one DNA key, and one piece of gear scaled to your Power Level. Repeated Completions (Missions Chains already completed) will net you one piece of gear that has its quality scaled to your Power Level  The Cosmic Threat Event will align with the Villain Sector is underway and will end on July 8. As per the Event's name, you will be imbued with Cosmic energy, which packs no insignificant punch. The Cosmic Threat Event will take you across the world in various new missions. Minor Missions rewards (a total of eight, one themed per Hero) require the use of specific Hero abilities or the completion of general objectives. Completing these missions will reward the themed Hero a scaling quality gear if that Hero is below PL 120. If that Hero is PL 120+, you'll be rewarded with a Tachyon Exotic. The Major Mission – A Cosmic Threat will require you to beat the new Villain Sector, defeat a large number of enemies in Cosmic Threat Sectors, and deal plenty of sweet Cosmic damage. You may have seen the exciting announcement last week that Sega is bringing Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles to North America and Europe for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on October 15! Developed by the team at CyberConnect2, The Hinokami Chronicles is a high-octane arena fighter that lets players relive the memorable moments of "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" and "Mugen Train Arc." Before we get into our topic for today, let's talk about the overall plot of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Set during the Taisho Period in Japan, Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a "demon slayer" so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family. Giyu Tomioka  First, let's talk about Giyu Tomioka, one of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps the Water Hashira, who uses “Water Breathing.” A quiet, stoic man, he is the one who recruited Tanjiro for the Demon Slayer Corps. Shinobu Kocho  And then there's Shinobu Kocho. One of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Insect Hashira, who uses “Insect Breathing.” Whether it’s a human or demon, she’ll maintain a polite demeanor while never letting her smile fade. Kyojuro Rengoku  Next, we have Kyojuro Rengoku.
