NIS Releases A Rather Creepy And Intriguing Game Teaser Posted: 02 Aug 2021 01:30 AM PDT The poor security guard. Nippon Ichi Software, and particularly its excellent localisation teams / subsidiaries like NIS America, is a favourite for some gamers that like games to be a bit different. The publisher / developer embraces that reputation with its marketing, as well, often putting out strange teasers to lure us in. The latest is in the video above, a rather creepy and atmospheric security cam look at a girl mysteriously hanging out in a warehouse. Throw in a brief cut to a gory scene and the door is wide open for speculation on what this game will be about. Right now there's no name or information beyond the video tease, but the official website will apparently update regularly with fresh looks. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |

We're now well into the second half of 2021, and Switch owners have plenty to look forward to over the coming months as we slide inexorably towards the Holiday season and the promise of 2022, a year that will hopefully be the most boring and uneventful on record - at least outside the realm of video games. Below we've listed some of the upcoming highlights of big Switch games scheduled for August and September. Beneath these physical releases you'll also find a selection of other games releasing from August — usually physical versions of previously digital-only Switch eShop games — plus a selection of Switch accessories and related peripherals available in the coming months as we cruise over the hump and hit our stride in the downhill section of 2021. Mini Review: Unbound: Worlds Apart - All The Portals You Need Posted: 01 Aug 2021 05:00 AM PDT Is this cake a lie..? Portals have always been cool, right? Valve's own genre-defining Portal remains to this day one of the greatest FPS games of all time, and we're sure even the most firm critic of the MCU can't watch the Endgame portal scene without feeling just a little bit emotional. Unbound: Worlds Apart makes smart use of portals as a foundation for its puzzle platforming, resulting in a solid adventure that's unfortunately held back by an unstable framerate. You play as Soli, a mage who bares more than a striking resemblance to FFIX's Vivi. Soli's world and reality is collapsing from a relentless evil, forcing him to utilise various portals to navigate a mysterious and dangerous land to save his home and people. On the way, he'll come across a multitude of friendly characters complete with their own quests and backstories. The world building here won't win any medals, but there's enough to keep you intrigued and invested for the duration of the game. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |
