Feature: The 20 Best Kirby Copy Abilities Posted: 17 Mar 2022 12:00 PM PDT ctrl+c, ctrl+k. In 30 years of Kirby, it's fair to say he's seen a broad swathe of powerful abilities come his way. And here at Nintendo Life, with the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land fast approaching, we've decided that it's time someone picked the 20 best and made a list of them, darn it. After all, it's the least we could do after three long decades of HAL's versatile hero. Don't see your favourite here? Well, variety is the spice of life, after all – sound off in the comments! Unless your favourite is Cutter or something similarly boring, in which case please don't bother (jokes!). Anyway, enough chirping – let's get down to business. As Kirby always says: "Poyo! Hiiiii!! Rnnnngh!!!" Read the full article on nintendolife.com |

Here's a couple we thought were worth highlighting to make the wait that little bit more unbearable. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |
GoldenEye's Trademark Has Been Updated, So Of Course Those Remaster Rumours Are Back Posted: 17 Mar 2022 10:30 AM PDT Never say never say never again. Welcome back to our once-monthly GoldenEye 007 update! If you think we're joking... well, we mostly are, but from February's rumour mill winding up, and Rick Astley declaring James Bond's N64 outing is his favourite video game, to the Xbox digital re-release rumours in January, it seems everyone is desperate to get their hands on either that cancelled Xbox 360 GoldenEye remaster a more basic re-release of the world's best-known spy's best game. Danjaq LLC, the company that owns many trademarks and licenses for the Bond franchise, was granted an extension to use the trademark just two days ago, on 15th March. The franchise's 60th anniversary is this year, and with these updates and rumours swirling around for the past year, it's surely a case of 'if' not 'when'. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |

Update:Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that the Booster Course Pass Wave 1 content will go live at midnight CET, which is 11pm UK. Original Article: We're not sure why, but Nintendo has an odd insistence on not confirming release times for digital versions of games and DLC. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Version 2.0.0 Now Live, Confirms All DLC Cup Names Posted: 17 Mar 2022 07:05 AM PDT No, you can't play the new tracks yet. As expected, especially in light of recent server maintenance, Nintendo has released the next big update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, taking it up to the giddy heights of Version 2.0.0. It's a meatier download and evidently installs the new tracks for the Booster Course Pass (Wave 1), with the previous 'pre-load' for the content being so small that it was clearly just an unlock key. To spare your suspense, no, the download doesn't enable the new courses yet. It's officially due on 18th March, though we do know the release times for Europe and Australia; it points to the content potentially arriving a little earlier than expected in some territories. We'll find out soon enough. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |
Review: Gal*Gun: Double Peace - One To Avoid Playing On Public Transport Posted: 17 Mar 2022 07:00 AM PDT Pervert party. Look, there's nothing wrong with a little anatomical allure, generally speaking. Hell, many an impressionable teenager hit pause to glimpse Chun-Li's undies back in the day, and Capcom knew it. Sex sells, and, like all commercial media, video game developers aren't immune to slapping some greasy smut on-disc in the hope of cementing another sale. Boobs, butts, oily pecs and sculpted crotches: gaming has seen it all — and Switch owners have seen more than ever before on a Nintendo console. The majority of Gal Gun's cattle-like cast, however, are Japanese high-schoolers. Whether or not they're Junior or Senior students is left ambiguous, making the premise of sexually gratifying its targets largely at odds with legal systems across most of the world, which explains its banning in countries like New Zealand and Germany. 'But hey, they're just, like, cartoons, man' is certainly one common argument in their defence. Read the full article on nintendolife.com |
