Analogue Pocket Will Be Available To Order Again Next Week, But There's A Catch

The Analogue Pocket is yet another highly-desirable device from the company behind the Super Nt and Mega Sg, and those who preordered one some time ago will finally be getting their hands on it this month - initial orders are shipping on Monday.

Analogue has now announced that, on Tuesday December 14th, the machine will once again be available to order.

2021 has certainly been a tough year for many of us, but it's been a surprisingly great one when it comes to quality video games. Much like at the beginning of 2020, Nintendo's slate of upcoming games looked pretty empty back in January, but ongoing and often surprise announcements meant we ended up with a impressive lineup on Switch this year. We got a brand new 2D Metroid, for crying out loud — a real good'un, too!

With 2022 fast approaching, it's time to rate all this year's releases for our annual reader-ranked Game of the Year 2021!

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Rated In Australia (Again)

First time was before the delay.

Although we were meant to be playing Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp on the Switch by now, in October Nintendo announced a delay.

While it's now due to arrive in "Spring 2022" according to Nintendo's website (or possibly 8th April 2022, according to eShop listings), since the previous update we've heard nothing else. Fortunately, we've got a small little reminder that it's still on track for release in the first half of next year.

Another week down as we roll towards the holidays. This week we've seen a bunch of games, a few performances, and even an award or two at The Game Awards. Elsewhere, Paper Mario came to the NSO Expansion Pack, some wag hacked Chris Pratt's voice into Super Mario Bros., and we sadly said goodbye to the man who designed two of the most iconic video games consoles ever made

Edge Of Eternity - Cloud Version Launches On Nintendo Switch February 2022

French indie developer Midgar Studio - in partnership with publisher Dear Villagers - has announced its JRPG-inspired game Edge of Eternity is coming to the Nintendo Switch as a cloud version release on 23rd February next year.

Here's a bit about this project that originally began life as a Kickstarter and also features the work of the legendary JRPG composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenoblade Chronicles & Chrono Trigger):

Poll: Paper Mario Is Out Now On Nintendo Switch Online, Will You Be Playing It?

Nintendo's Switch Online Expansion Pack tier has just added the Nintendo 64 classic Paper Mario.

This paper-inspired adventure first unfolded on the Nintendo 64 in the year 2000 and since then has gone on to spawn an entire series. The original game has also been re-released over the years on the Wii and Wii U Virtual Console, and now it's the Switch's turn.

Rumour: Persona 3 Portable Is Supposedly Getting A "Multiplatform" Remaster

Yesterday, rumours became true when the Atlus and Arc System Works' 2D fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was officially announced for the Nintendo Switch and multiple other modern platforms.

Now, in an interesting update, the same leaker who teased this announcement ahead of its official reveal is claiming Persona 3 Portable will be receiving a "multiplatform" remaster. Here's exactly what 'Zippo' had to say in a new post over on their blog:
