Black Isle Studios Is Bringing Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II To Switch In 2022

It's coming "sooner than you think".

We heard last year how Black Isle Studios was interested in reviving Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II for modern platforms, and now it's been officially confirmed.

In a brief message over on the social media platform Twitter, Black Isle said the second game in the action RPG series would be coming "sooner than you think" at some point this year. Here's the full teaser trailer:

We do love a bit of LEGO Zelda, and so do the myriad of people who are both LEGO and Zelda fans who keep voting Zelda-themed, fan-made sets (officially termed "MOCs" - My Own Creation) into the final round of LEGO Ideas' design review.

LEGO Ideas is the brick company's opportunity for the general public to have the chance to see their set designs made real, as long as they get enough support and pass that crucial final review, in which actual LEGO employees decide if a set is viable as a commercial product.

In the case of Mediatonic's Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a battle-royale-style multiplayer game that met with great success in the early pandemic days of 2020, no news about the Switch port that they promised doesn't necessarily mean they've forgotten about it or given up.

Stella McCartney's Japanese arm is currently hawking a bunch of knitwear items emblazoned with the iconic aliens. Prices start at ¥94,600 ($820) for a skirt, all the way up to a whopping ¥205,700 (around $1800) for a dress.

Remember that scrappy little kid in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, who won a podracing tournament against a bunch of weird-looking aliens? Well, that kid ended up accidentally setting off a chain of events that would span nine feature-length movies, countless books and video games, and a whole lot of memes about having the high ground. Who could have guessed!

And now, just to bring the whole thing full-circle, we're about to get a video game retelling of the "Skywalker Saga", the nine-movie plot arc that follows the Skywalker family from Shmi Skywalker all the way down to her great-grandson Ben — and it's told through LEGO.

Random: Star Wars' Best Droid Fused With A Game Boy Is Surprisingly Awesome

While some of you may have a soft spot for C-3PO and R2-D2, deep down, we all know that the best droid in the entire Star Wars saga is K-2SO from Rogue One. It's just a fact, so deal with it.

You can see why, then, this canny fusion of droid and handheld has us so excited. Twitter account From4-LOMtoZuckuss spotted this amazing custom job by illustrator and toy designer Greg Dmnt, which takes a K-2SO action figure and combines it with part of a DMG-01 console. The finishing touch is a swanky new paint job, which looks pretty cool if you ask us.

Rumour: 2K Is Creating A Series Of Lego Sports Games

A soccer and open-world racing game are in development.

2K is working alongside famous toy brand Lego on a series of sports titles, VGC has reported.

VGC's sources claim that the publisher has signed a new multi-game partnership as Lego looks to maintain its video game line after its exclusivity deal with the Warner-owned TT Games ends.
