Update: And another one bites the dust! Well, sort of — Nintendo Switch Sports is bringing the Wii Sports series back on Switch on 29th April, which means Wii Sports Club comes off this list.


Back in 2020 we asked you in a poll which games you'd most like to see return from Nintendo's previous console generation for an encore on Switch. Since then, we've seen a good handful of games from that selection make the generation jump, including The Wonderful 101: Remastered and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.

Nintendo Continues Expansion In Southeast Asia With Official Websites For Malaysia And The Philippines

Company "pleased" to bring information to its fans in the region.

Nintendo has expanded its operations in Southeast Asia with the launch of two new regional websites.

Malaysia and the Philippines now have their own official Nintendo sites, which join the Thai-language Nintendo website and official online store that launched late last year. Nintendo also launched a Singaporean website last year, which shows how serious the company is about servicing the needs of its Southeast Asian customers.

Ninja Issen, A 'Hyper Ninja Action Experience', Flips Onto Switch This Summer

Ninja Issen is a game that first popped onto our radar in Summer 2021, as it was confirmed for Switch as part of Indie Live Expo. Originally planned for a 2021 release, it's now been shifted to a target of Summer 2022 and could be a bit of a sneaky hit to watch.

As you can see in the trailer it's heavily stylised and is aiming to deliver a 'hyper ninja action experience', which seems like an accurate description. It combines this with a cyberpunk aesthetic and seemingly a soundtrack that'll keep you awake to the action.

Microsoft 'Close' To Sacking Senior Dev Who Assaulted 7-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Stop Playing His Switch

A senior developer at Microsoft has been sentenced to a one-year community corrections order with a requirement that he perform 100 hours of unpaid work after he was found guilty of unlawfully assaulting his son after the 7-year-old refused to stop playing on his Nintendo Switch.

41-year-old Nicholas Lester, the court heard, throttled his son after losing his temper, and was heard to scream "I will stop him breathing". The attack took place at his West Melbourne home on February 6th last year. The Herald Sun reported the boy's face went red as he yelled for his mother, who ran to the bedroom upon hearing the commotion.

Omen Of Sorrow Is Like 'Castlevania' Meets 'Street Fighter', And It's Coming To Switch

Publisher Eastasiasoft has announced that it is bringing AOne Games' gory, horror-style one-on-one fighter Omen Of Sorrow to Switch and PS5 in physical form.

This edition will boast 'expanded' content when compared to the previously confirmed Steam version. That means revised story content and new endings for the game's arcade mode. The game hit Xbox One in September of last year, and that edition will also receive this content via a free update.

Bandai's Worldwide 'Digimon Con' Begins February 26th, Kicks Off With A Video Game Segment

Update : Bandai's 'Digimon Con' will air later this week on 26th February, and ahead of the event, the official schedule has been published.

The broadcast will kick off with a "Digimon games" information and Q&A session. A new teaser trailer for the event (above) also includes footage of the upcoming strategy RPG Digimon Survive, so we could possibly be seeing more of the repeatedly delayed game very soon.

SNK "Looking Into" Official English Release Of Card Fighters 2

The Neo Geo Pocket Color game SNK VS. Capcom: Card Fighters' Clash got a surprise release on the Switch eShop at the start of this year, and as much as we loved it, one other game we would also like to see return is the Japan-only sequel.
