Sisters of Parvos is one of Warframe's most expansive updates yet, offering experiences for both new and active players.
The update includes a new easy-to-acquire Warframe, a large number of weapons and customizations, as well a new Lich System with new boss battles and rewards.

Warframe players eagerly awaiting our fan celebration event, TennoCon 2021, now have some new content to enjoy with the release of Sisters of Parvos, available today for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Sisters of Parvos is one of our most expansive updates yet, offering experiences for both new and active players. We wanted to provide something for everyone in this update: A new easy-to-acquire Warframe, a large number of new weapons and customizations, as well a new Lich System with new boss battles and rewards.

New and Returning Enemies in a Continued Storyline of Greed, Power, and Oppression

The storyline of Vala, who we recently introduced in our last update, Call of the Tempestarii, continues this week with the aggressive Corpus expansion led by Parvos Granum. Parvos has manufactured a new line of adversary – a sisterhood of elite huntresses who live and die by his orders. Players will battle their sister's mechanized hounds to acquire a new companion, weapons, and customizations through the Corpus Lich System.

New Sisters, New Story, New Encounters, and New Rewards

True to their high-tech status, the Sisters of Parvos have been outfitted with some of the most advanced weapons in the Corpus arsenal. Players will challenge their new adversary to acquire these unique Corpus Weapons for themselves.

New weapons include the Tenet Envoy, a discrete rocket launcher, and the Tenet Diplos, a pair of auto-lock-on, homing projectile pistols. TheTenet Spirex pistol features lightning-fast slugs and the Parvosian upgraded Tenet Tetra now offers a large burst radius grenade launcher alt-fire option. The Sister-modified Tenet Flux Rifle has improved power and the custom Corpus variant of the Tenet Arca Plasmor has staggering blast and radiation damage. Finally, there is the re-engineered Cycron which features a deadly refracting energy disc.

More Encounters and Rewards for Active Players With Our Improved Kuva Lich System

We've enhanced the existing Kuva Lich System with a host of quality-of-life improvements for our active players. We've even streamlined the experience making it easier to confront your Kuva Lich and the final showdown will now take place in outer space via Railjack. We've introduced new encounters and new rewards including the Kuva Grattler, a powerful Arch-gun, the Kuva Zarr, an explosive cannon, and the Kuva Hek, a four-barrel shotgun.

New Rotational Content with Rewards for Void Storm Encounters

Void Storms now include additional rewards for players to collect. Four new Tenet briefcase weapons have been introduced with a rotational schedule. Including the Tenet Agendus, a massive impact hammer, the Tenet Exec, a shockwave-sending heavy blade, the Tenet Livia, an infinitely sharp two-handed blade, and the Tenet Grigori, a scythe launching spinning energy discs.

A New Player-Designed and Easy-to-Acquire Warframe

Unique to her aquatic abilities, Yareli's Sea Snares form three water globules that seek out enemies and expand on contact, simultaneously damaging and immobilizing their victims. Her Merulina can be used for attacking but it also absorbs incoming damage. Her trio of orbiting Aquablades will tear through enemies. With Riptide, she can drag enemies into a crushing maelstrom and then blow them away with water bursts.

We hope new players will appreciate how quickly they can earn and enjoy playing as our 47th Warframe, Yareli. New players will enjoy a more dynamic experience with not only her water-bending powers but also her very own K-Drive. Check out her new abilities in action with the Yareli Profile Trailer above.

Rogue Company's newest rogue, Switchblade, is a short fuse in a leather jacket, cutting a fiery swath through those who oppose her. On the run and hunted since a young age, Switchblade has become content with the solace of being alone. She's self-taught and very lethal; a master of survival and combat. However, everyone she's ever gotten close to ends up dead so when Rogue Company offers protection and information, she can't refuse.

Don't bring a knife to a gunfight; bring napalm instead! Use Switchblade's Chaos Launcher to drop a cluster of napalm to devastate your enemies and force them out of defensive positions.

“Breachers in Rogue Company are designed to break through enemy defenses to initiate an offensive push,” explains Rogue Company's Lead Designer Scott Lussier. “With Switchblade, we are designing a breacher who is able to punish enemies that are fortified on power positions. Throughout the iteration phase, we discovered that in order for Switchblade to achieve our design goals she needs to have a passive that allows her to follow up on her ability. Switchblade's passive is called Fight and Flight. Whenever she uses an ability, or a gadget, she gains a burst of movement speed which enables her to close the gap on the enemy team. This passive allows her to truly excel at punishing enemies who are hunkered down in strong defensive positions throughout the map.”

This update also features new 6v6 game modes that are action-packed! 6v6 Team Deathmatch replaces Extraction as a core game mode. A new limited time game mode, 6v6 King of the Hill, also joins the queue in Rogue Company. Party up and hop into these new game modes now!

Calamity The Bomb Stealer Arrives in Heavy Metal Machines

Hoplon Studio here, from Brazil. We’re thrilled to announce that a new machine has just arrived in the arenas of Heavy Metal Machines! Meet Calamity, the Bomb Stealer!

Calamity’s role is to transport the bomb to the enemy base, and she has weapons never seen before in the arenas — she can steal the bomb from other machines!

Her Passive ability is called "The Power of the Bomb." She grew up so close to the bomb that it is now part of her life. When she is carrying the bomb, her machine will gain HP, increased damage, weight, and size.

Calamity's Weapon 1 is "Meritocracy," which launches a claw forward dealing damage to enemies, and may also attach to the bomb and pull it into her possession. This is the only machine that can steal the bomb from enemies, creating a new range of strategies.

Weapon 2 is "Dodge Back." It will instantly thrust the machine backward and deal damage to any enemy close to her. This is very useful to avoid damage and dodge enemies. Even more, if combined with Weapon 3, "Dodge Forth," which is the opposite version, it instantly thrusts the machine forward and deals damage to enemies nearby.

Her special ability is "Full Throttle." As the weapon's name says, she will put the pedal to the metal and gain speed as long as you keep the special weapon button pressed, consuming special weapon energy over time.

She is a tough one, and she is already available in Heavy Metal Machines!

Greetings, explorers!

I've been working away on my very first game, Omno, for nearly 5 years now, and I'm delighted, relieved, and terrified to finally be able to announce the game will be launching July 29 (that's only 3 weeks from now) for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

For those of you who don't know the game, Omno is a single-player adventure full of creatures to befriend, secrets to discover, and puzzles to solve. I had the idea for the game originally way back when I was working as an animator, mostly in T.V. and movies, and as time went on I developed the idea more and more until I finally took the leap and dedicated myself to the project full time.

When the team from ID@Xbox got in touch with me about Omno, that was a real moment where I thought, "Wow, things are getting kinda serious now!" The support the Xbox team have shown me in helping to get my solo dev project out there to the wider gaming audience has been amazing, and I'm so happy that Omno will be available with Xbox Game Pass, for both console and PC, from day one, so I can share it with as many people as possible. Seeing my game in the Xbox Game Pass library alongside so many incredible games is going to be a surreal experience!

If you're a fan of smaller, carefully crafted adventure games with a lot of heart, I really hope you'll join me on the journey when Omno launches July 29 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and with Xbox Game Pass. I can't wait to share it with the world!

Hong Kong is your playground in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

While we're keeping a few things under wraps for now, there is already a lot to uncover from this cinematic trailer. First, the location. After Oahu and Ibiza, TDU Solar Crown takes place in Hong Kong, with the team at KT Racing recreating the full island at a 1:1 scale. Second, we are sticking to the core of TDU with open-world racing, luxury cars, living the high life, and more. Third, we have had a first glimpse at the Streets and Sharps, rival clans which will be at the heart of our story. And finally, a release date: Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is planned for September 22, 2022 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Session: Skateboarding Sim Game gets a free update

It's been a year already since Session, a skateboarding simulation, arrived on Xbox One through Game Preview. Today, the team at crea-ture studios is proud to deliver a major update, adding a new skateshop in Philadelphia, the famous Black Hubba in New York, but also new game modes such as "Skate or Dice" and a more complete replay editor to create your clips and share your gnarly sessions with the world. There still is a lot we want to add for the game's full release, but until then, you can continue to play Session in Game Preview and even try it for free for two hours!
